So we have been working with my dd since she turned 2 back in MAY. She would use it when she felt like it but would tell us nah I don't want to. And just laugh. So two weeks ago we had some septic isse and the potty was "broke". My dd picked that time to decide wanted to use it. But we couldn't because it didn't work. So 3 days ago we finally got it fixed. She has been wearing panties during the day since. She has only had 1 accident. I think she has finally decided to start using the potty!!

My son turned 2 in Oct and he is just not really feeling the potty thing! It is really frustrating because it seems like he knows what he needs to do but just won't! How do I get him to want to go?

My kids have all been real active. So the way we had to do it was by setting a timer for every 15 min and telling them when the timer beeped it was potty time. The first day or two we would have to remind them. Billy the timer is going beep time to go potty. But then they start getting the hang of it and would go on their own when it beeped. After the accomplish that we slowly start spacing out the timer beeps until finally we could do away with them

YAY!! Kassidy will be 3 in April, she's been in panties since November. She goes all day every day on the potty for both pee & #2.  When we do long car rides we do pull ups for the time being. Short trips to a family/friends house she uses panties. Trip to the store or wherever she'll get a pull up & she'll tell us when she has to go and 98% of the time she keeps the pull up dry.  Both of my kids have been potty trained by their 3rd bday.  We use the sticker chart for motivation and we also DO NOT use pull ups at home, we use underwear, a pull up is a diaper and they don't understand the difference btwn them so they will pee in it. :o)
