Is your 2 year old sleeping in a toddler bed or crib still?

My son just turned 2 on December 15th and was sleeping perfectly fine in his toddler bed but then I had a baby in November. The new baby sleeps in his crib and Austin see's his little brother sleeping in his crib and he wants to sleep in  his crib too. Should I let him sleep in the crib?

His crib is still set up in his room. Haven't had a chance to take it down........I am a newly single mom so its really hard to get everything done with a newborn and 2 year old!

Joeys been in a toddler bed since 18 months when he climbed out of his crib. I had a baby just before he turned 2 ad he made comments about wanted to be in his crib, except the crib belonged to the baby now so we would just say no, that's where Parker's going to sleep and he seemed to understand.

Our 2009 son graduated to a toddler bed when we adopted him in September.  I'm 39 weeks pregnant for his brother and we obviously needed a crib.

Mary Page still sleeps in her crib--she's not (yet) tried to climb out.

Rachel turned two in December and she still sleeps in her crib. She loves it and hasn't tried to crawl out. We're enjoying NOT hearing the pitter patter of her feet running into our room when she can't fall asleep quickly. She often plays in her crib for up to an hour before falling asleep.

Congratulations on your newborn baby!

my son is 2.5 and in a toddler bed. he was still in his crib until a few months after he turned 2.

i would try to explain to him that the crib is for babies and that's why his little brother gets to sleep in it. but that he's a big boy and you need him to be a big boy so he can help you with his little brother....something like that. make him feel special to be a big boy and help you and that big boys don't need a crib.

Tabby got her toddler bed in dec 2010. Since my dd was born in may 2011 tabby has wanted to sleep in the babys crib a few times (mainly nap times). We have tried discouraging it but the best method we have found is when she wants to be a baby we treat her like one. Instead of a sippy cup I will make her a bottle with formula (which naturally she doesn't drink) she is not allowed any big girl privellages. She has still chosen to sleep in it a few times but most of the time she decides she would rather be a big girl.

My son is 2 years 7 months. He's been in a toddler bed for a year now. I was trying to wait until his 2nd birthday, so we could make a big deal out of it. He was climbing out of the crib, and I was worried he would get hurt.

My little man was 2 in october and he is still in his crib. He hasn't tried to climb out and he is content in it. he is in the upstairs bedroom, ours is downstairs and I just feel better having him still in his bed right now anyways so I figureds if he isn't pushing it I won't either.
