My 2009 DD turned 3 last week on the 16th. I had forgotten last month to call and schedule her annual well-check, so I did it today.
They can't see her until October 8! I feel like such a BUM for not calling sooner and I'm going to have to explain when they look at her height and weight and everything that she's technically 3 yrs + (almost) 3 months. Lol, I know that it's not a huge deal, but I still feel bad...I've always gotten both girls in just after their bdays for our annual check ups.
Oh, well...Just looking for a pat on the back. And to see if there's anything that makes a huge difference with it. And my older daughter will be needing her 5 year weel-check at the end of October, so I better go ahead and schedule hers now! xD
Did you try leaving a message for your pedi, not with the nurse or appointment line and letting them know you can bring in sooner? Joey turned 3 on 6/19, but we were on vacation. I called on 6/29 for an appointment and was told they couldn't get him in on the schedule until September. I asked them to get a message to his pedi that if she had time if she could get him in sooner. She called me back within 30 minutes and said she had an opening at 1:30 that afternoon. When I saw her she said if you can be flexible and come at a moments notice then she can get you in a lot faster. You can always try that. It's worth a shot.
It's OK - DS4 is going for his one year well child a full month after his bday.
I usually do DS1, 2 and 3 together in May. That's 3mo late for DS2, and one mo late for DS3.
