January Babies - now TTC

Hi,

We had our 2nd baby on January 1st, 2009 and would love a 3rd. I know it is soon but we want to TTC # 3 now, however my AF has not returned yet. The same happened with our first - I breastfed both babies for about 6-7 months and had no AF.

I stopped breastfeeding on June 29th and went for a scan on July 10th, just to see how I was doing e.g. everything back to normal. The doctor said that he could see a 'near ripe' egg - which he suspected would ovulate within the next week. I OPKéd and did get a second line around the 14th / 15th. I have done a few HPT's and they have been BFN...but still no sign of AF. I have a metallic taste in my mouth + my other normal signs (bit TMI).

Anyway, hoping to get pregnant again with # 3 soon and was wanting to meet other Jan mums who were doing the same.

So are you pregnant? I am not trying to conceive yet but have baby fever bad!! We are going to start trying sometime around May I cant wait!!!!!!

Hi there,

Think so - did 7 HPT's over the past 2 days and all positive. Went to the doctors for a blood test today.

If I am it is very early - but that's ok as I had a positive HPT with my 2nd daughter on exactly the same day.

Fingers crossed for a happy, healthy 9 months.

We are TTC for our third also. (Think PinK)I have also not had a return of a regular cycle. (Are you sure you are not writing my life story? lol) However I did not really breastfeed, though I pumped for about 6-8 weeks until I dried up. I saw AF right around 4-6 PP and then again about June ( I had one depo shot) and she been MIA since. Hubby and I are really wondering now if I am pregnant.... all of a sudden my breasts are very tender and sore and I have been a major B. And still now AF.. If we don't see AF this week, we will get a HPT.....and then visit the doctor either way...

Four kiddies is enough for me! My youngest will be a year old on Jan. 17. I didn't really WANT to be done, but because of health issues, we are done for now. Possibly looking into adoption in the future, but haven't decided on that yet.
