don't search craigslist its full of scams

I've been in the group for awhile now, just never realy posted too much. I am very serious about finding a LEGIT work from home job, not a business. I am a mother of 3, with two in school during the day and an 8 month old at home with me during the day. My Husband was working FT until last week, he was let go. So now he's searching for something FT out of the home. I am trying to remain a stay at home mom, cheaper to find something to do from home than to pay daycare and before/after school prices. Not to mention I will NOT put my 8 month old in a daycare. Did that with the older two and didn't like it at all.
Anyways, I NEED a LEGIT work from home job to start asap. I have a few years of clerical experience in offices, etc. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to where to begin. I've searched craigslist, all scams..I've looked on here (not just this group) and it all seems to be starting businesses and having to pay someone to give me an income...that's not right at all. I live in St. Louis, Missouri..if that helps. I just need something to bring in a little extra money to supplement my Hubby's FT pay (that he hopefully has again soon). Not looking to make millions, just an income of some sort. Also with these Customer Service Call Center work from home jobs...How do you do those with an Infant around?

Someone please give me some ideas. I'm Lost.......
