I copy a lot of recipes into my book and I only like pens but my grip is so hard it often makes my hand cramp and ache and my writing looks jagged.

I have a hard time with pens because I'm left handed and smudge a lot.
As a writer, I'm always looking for a great pen.
Dr. Grip pens are comfortable, however I don't enjoy ballpoint pens. I prefer fountain or gel.
As for How do I make my writing experience enjoyable....
I use The Writer's Mind. It may not banish writer's block as they claim but it does help boost creativity and productivity.
Seems I forgot to add my two cents in! I think they are pretty good, and I love the colours they come in. I enjoy the variety of colours, but I thought they took a little too long to get "started." You know, when you begin with a fresh pen, the ink isn't always uniform until the flow normalizes? i thought it took a bt longer than usual to get to that point. But, it didnt bother me overmuch, and I would absolutely buy these pens in the future.

I recieved my pack of pens yesterday. Before they were even out of the pack my older two kids(13 & 12) were deciding which colors they wanted for themselves. Fortunately I told them they were for 'work' so they needed to hold off. I'm not sure I'l be able to hold them off long though. So we all really love the variety of colors these pens have.
At first I wasn't sure how I'd like the shape since they are triangular instead of round but if fits nice in my fingers. It took some getting use to b/c I dont have to push down near as much as I usually do. Actually I didn't even realize how hard I usually push until using these pens.
I'v been using them all day for grocery list, some summer school work with my 6 year old, budget & balancing my check book. They write very smooth & all around a great pen. I wonder if the teacher at my kids' school will mind me filling out their paperwork in pink, green & blue?? :)

Well, I figured I should update you all on my PaperMate Ink Joy pens. I want to thank Cafemom and Papermate for this opportunity.
Well, I've used some of my pens at work. I'm a school nurse with 400 kiddos at the school. I'm restricted in what colors I can use at work but that didn't hold me back from using the approved colors here. We're a month into our school year and BELIEVE ME, there's ALOT of paperwork and writing to be done. These pens have been a blessing. The ink flow is consistent. The shape of the pens allows for lots of writing without hurting your hand. I even had a parent try to steal one of my pens when they came to sign stuff for me!!!!!!! I had to tell her what kind of pen it was so she could get her own.
At home, I've used my other colors for bills, writing appts on my calendar, my meal planning and even my shopping lists. These pens held up to my writing and without any problems. I'm going to be stocking up on some more especially for my office :)
Thanks again Cafemom.
i love crayons they are more likely not to be erased , and the kids are more apt to read things in crayon versus pen, so i make all my lists and notes and chore list in all different colors , and it seems i always have crayons laying around better than saying hang on i need to find a pen and when i get done with the kids i will already know i will not be allowed sharp objects lol
