usually right after. at least the majority gets cleaned up. sometimes a few dishes stay in the sink till the next morning. if SO cooks i clean and if i cook SO cleans.

I clean up the kitchen right after dinner. I do not like dishes in the sink. My house gets messy, but my white kitchen is generally clean. (We enforce the no toys in the kitchen rule. Toys are just about everywhere else!)

Used to do it later, but then I really dreaded it. So I switched to doing it right after dinner and I feel much better. Kids are responsible for clearing their own dishes off the table and I finish the rest.

I clean after I put my son to bed. Anytime I try to clean when he's around, he sees it as an opportunity to get into trouble.

I try for right after dinner.  If Steph is not cooperative, I do it after she goes to bed.

I usually do it right after dinner. I wash dishes while I cook, unless it's hubby's nights to do dishes, lol. Then wipe the kitchen counters and appliances down after I am finished with washing the dinner dishes.
