Just curious who has true friends that they actually hang out with regularly?

I have amazing friends from college...but we're scattered all over so we never see each other. We email, sometimes text or skype but that's it. Where I live I have NO friends. None. After living here 9 years. I have no sister & my brother & I don't talk. So my only friend is my DH who is my best friend.

Am I weird? Sometimes I really miss having a girlfriend to hang out with.

I hang out with a girl from work once in a while. My bff since jr high moved an hour away, so we don't see each other much. Otherwise, no.

I have a lot of casual friends but my best friends are my sisters and cousins. I have a lot of family though and we all live in the same city. I could imagine that's lonely though I've got to have someone to call and chat/ vent to at times.

See, that's the other thing. I telecommute so I have lots of work "friends" but they're scattered all over North America. kinda lonely.

Same here. I miss having female friendships. Once in a while I'll hang with coworkers but I have no bffs.

No, I am in the same boat, I have friends that I have kept in contact with from the military!  But as far as having friends here to hang out with occasional no.  I have only been in Florida for two years now, and when I first moved here I was going through a divorce, so making friends during that period of time, wasn't happening.  I am in a better location now, but with my work and family, I just don't get out.  I work from home, so making friends seems to be nearly impossible.  But I am happy, cause I have my DF and my boys.  Plus I do have lunch once in a while with his mom and when my mom is in town we hang out.

I've never hung out regularly. My BFF is ready to hang out anytime I ask, but it's never a regular thing. not unless you count annual trips to the ren fair and Shakespeare on the green to be "regular".

I have a few close friends, but it's hard to make time on a regular basis.

On an actual computer. I'm shocked, too.

I'm not really close to anyone. Never really get a chance to hang out. I spend most, if not all, of my free time with my children.

I had a few really great, really close friends from high school up until a few months ago when I got the "you've changed, you're not the same person we knew, blah blah" lecture. Now I barely talk to them let alone see them. It's frustrating. But my husband is my best friend and that's okay with me. I enjoy my time with him and my daughter. Family is forever, right?
