Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning!!! What's your best suggestion(s)?
We have shared several posts about cleaning so tell me about your best suggestions one post at a time for organization, cleaning schedule, products to use....anything you want. We all have busy schedules and I need to get back to one with my family. I am in NEED of some good tips for kitchens and bathrooms especially but would also love to hear about organizations for backpacks, shoes, laundry, etc.
Get everyone to help! Even little ones can wipe off cabinets with a damp cloth. Kids love using swiffer sweepers.

That's a really cool idea! I need to figure out some better organizing stuff since we just have too much stuff for our place. Eventually I'm going to go through the boxes I have in my laundry room and get rid of a lot of it since it's been in there since we moved into our place.
As far as cleaning I try to do a little bit everyday so that it's not so overwhelming on the weekends and we can spend time outside or whatever.
Quoting the3Rs:It's nothing fancy...just clear bins. I was thinking of covering them in fabric or something to personalize them this year - and make them a bit more decorative.
There's nothing in them right now since it's summer.

I have a cleaning schedule. Similar to what someone else mentioned. I do one room a night. The benefit for this has been (for me) that the room is not as dirty since it was just cleaned. I change it around as need be. Nights where I have something to do after work, like dance with DD, I do something that doesn't take as long. I even have an app on my phone with it. It has helped SO and I argue less as he can see what needs to be done and will tend to do what has been missed on Sat/Sun mornings.
Monday - living room, Tues - main bathroom, Wed - kitchen (trash pick up is Thurs), Thursday - is laundry day. I clear laundry room of lingering clothes. I fold while watching TV, Friday - my son's room, Sat - DD's room, and Sunday - our room and bathroom.
I do laundry all during the week. Not everyday but when I see a load form, I do it. Easier to fold one load than many.
Tips for bathroom - keep wipes in there and you can get kids to wipe down counters.
Kitchen - I wash as I go. After dinner, do dishes, wipe counters, and sweep kitchen. I wake up everyday to a clean kitchen.
