I've been so behind at work that even though I felt like death I showed up every day this week. It was just a cold, but it hit me pretty hard. I've got plenty of tissues and sanitizer and I tried to confine the germs to my cube as much as possible. I still feel a little guilty because I can hear sniffles from a few people around the office. If I'd have had a fever, I'd have stayed home.
How do you determine when you're sick enough to stay home? Do the kids still go to daycare (or wherever they usually go when you're at work)?
Usually I still take the kids in if I stay home from work. A day at home with them can be more demanding than a day at work sometimes. Ha.
I rarely stay home. If I'm feeling really sick, then I definitely will, but that only happens about once a year. It's just so frustrating to fall behind a day in work.
I usually go to work but I don't really work too close to anyone so it's not a big deal. The only time I stay home is if I'm to the point that I can't even function enough to get out of bed.
I take the day off if I'm sick.
None of my kids are in daycare but when they were I usually kept them home with me when I took off.
