Who's watching the kids?

Where are your kids when you're at work?
I wish I could make this a poll.
Do your kids go to a daycare center? An at-home daycare? Before & after care at school? Do you & SO work opposite shift to save child care costs? Do they go to a relatives house, like grandma's? Do you have a nanny?

When I was a teacher we worked opposite shifts with about a 1 hour crossover during which time we used daycare.

Then we moved & had the same shift & they went to grandma's. Then I started working from home & they're with me whenever they're not in school.

My son is now in school and he attends after school until I get off of work. When he was a baby, he stayed with my MIL and my DH's family until he was 2 and a half then we put him in day care/preschool.

We have 2 kids ages 6 (in 1st grade) and 4 (starting pre-k) I have a in home daycare that we use part time and DH works opposite shifts than I so he can watch. 

I would rather the in home daycare than dh some days b/c having everyone in the house while i am working at home can be distracting. But for the sake of saving $$ it is working out.

Mine are in school all day.  They are old enough to be home after school for a little while until I get home. I usually get home about an hour after them.
