Another spin off. We have not had DS in daycare during the holiday season before. I know its still a ways away, but do you give your daycare provider / teachers gifts at the end of the year? What do you typically give them if you do?

I send the class (with any teachers in it) an Edible Arrangement, or something like that.

My kids usually buy an ornament or make holiday goodies for their teachers. Sometimes they will get something specific to the particular teacher (one teacher collected bird stuffed animals, so we found one for her).

At Christmas we write a nice card, otherwise we would be buying 6-8 gifts for all the teachers that work regularly with my boys. This year we did Valentine gifts...a "thank you" for loving my boys as their own. They loved it and we able to appreciate it since they didnt get a bunch of stuff then. We also send in trail mix or something during teacher appreciation week in May. Helps to spread out the spending...the holidays are already so tight.

I get something from one of the companies, they do food and candy gift baskets. They like it- daycare teachers should get more chocolate :)
