Jackson and I returned home from MN last night. I definitely wasn't ready to come back to work this morning :( I don't know who was more spoiled; my dad or Jackson lol. Jackson shadowed Grandpa every chance he got! He got to go on the 4 wheeler, a go cart, a carriage ride (he got to "drive"), ride in the tractor, helped feed the horses and corral the calf (that one wasn't nearly as fun for either of us) We got to visit a lot of the family and some of my friends. Jackson had a blast but refused to go to anyone other than me, my dad or my stepmom. It really upset my mom but he hadn't seen her since Easter last year.
My dad's calf had been missing almost 2 weeks when he spotted her in the pasture one night so we went to catch her. After she dragged my dad around (he'd tied the rope around his waist) he managed to tie her to the post in the corral. I went over to show her to Jackson and was on the wrong side of the rope :( She ended up sweeping my feet out from under me. I now have bruises and rope burn on the backs of my thighs and a nasty scrape and knot on my left knee plus the soreness from trying to keep Jackson from getting hurt since I was holding him. Thankfully Jackson came out of it completely unharmed.
Now I just wish work would be over already so I can go home and try to get back into our routine. Oh and try to get rid of my allergy rash from standing in my dad's hay field. Both my arms are pretty much covered and I have a few spots on my legs...it's itchy :(

I got to go for a short horseback ride (Jackson didn't like that I left him with "strangers" He was with my auntie) I just had to get a pic of him on the horse with me though :)
