All of management is off-site today at some huge meeting.
That means I'll...be sitting quietly at my desk getting my job done.

My boss has been out all week because he had surgery last Thursday. Next week he will be out again doing a trade show in another state.
It's been relaxing and fairly quiet here as well. Today will be especially nice because most of the big wigs don't come in on Fridays. Our wing of the building is very quiet right now.

I left work about 45 minutes early last week to get ready for my birthday date. I had already planned on staying late the next day to make up for it, but when I told a coworker I was heading out, she said, "And what makes you think you can do that?" She waited just long enough for me to turn bright red before she laughed and winked. Thankfully no one is actually out to get me! haha!
