Somebody dropped and broke a fluerescent light yesterday and it's this huge hazmat situation apparently! The doorways are all covered up with zippered sheeting that you have to open and close as you move through them, it's nuts. I feel like we're in E.T. lol
The wonders of "modern" technology. Just imagine if they dropped one of the CFL's! Maybe you could get a day off!
Wow, that's intense! I know some lights have mercury in them. I didn't know it was THAT big of a deal, though.

I didn't know either! If it was me I would have cleaned it up and went about my day, I had no idea that I would have had to call somebody in. We will probably be quarantined most of the day. They will have to come back in at some point and retest the air.
Yikes! Yeah, mercury is definitely not something to joke around with. When I was in high school, another school in the area had to be shut down because someone busted a mercury filled thermometer in the hall.
