What country other than your current/home country would you most like to work and raise a family in? Why?

I would love to go to Ireland.  But I don't know enough about the culture and how things work to really say I want to live and raise my family there.

Up until a few years ago, I think Greece was the place to be! lol!

But seriously, I think I'd choose a place that has advanced education and national healthcare first and foremost. Maybe Switzerland or Denmark. Definitely a country in Western Europe.

I need to visit them first to know if I'd like it. Can't go just by Internet info and pictures.

 The same.

I have only visited 2 other countries and 1 to 3 weeks is not enough time to make decison if I would want to live in those countries visited.

Isn't it interesting that the same countries that focus on national health care and education also have the happiest people in the world?

Australia or Canada has really turned it's economy around lately, I think I would be ok there.

Australia. I lived there in high school (and was born there). It is a wonderful place to raise a family and I miss it terribly
