New !! :) share your best tip for managing a family while working!!
1.) name
2.) how may kiddos?
3.) where do you work, what do you do?
4.) any special tip for balancing work and family?!
2. 2-1 ss and 1dd:)
3. Operator at a power plant
4.) I make a bunch of food the night before I go back to work for a rotation (I either work 3 or 4 days in a row. Never more unless its overtime)
Then I have leftovers for DF to just heat up for the kiddos when I'm working late. And we also both have lunches made that way, so I don't have to pack one in the morning before I leave at 5:15 am
2. Just one. A two year old girl :)
3. I work at Flightstar in the Engineering dept.
4. When I get home from work, I remind myself that I cant clean EVERYTHING and that's okay. Lots of deep breaths and remember to laugh at the silly things that might upset you like big messes when the little one is trying to be more independent :)

I've always worked. It's just that I work 65-90 hours a week so it's really exhausting

we work opposite of each other - i work M-F and he works F-Sun. Usually he handles the laundry and will do most of the tidying up during the week. i do the tidying up over the weekend and all of the deep cleaning. he's so helpful. i don't think i could do it without him. i never have to ask him to pitch in.

I'm working on lowering expectations! Do you and dh have assigned areas or jobs you're in charge of? Or just hope the other one sees what needs to be done?
