Here is why I ask:
My mother had this painting. She claims it was a woman sitting in a forest, with the leaves around her turning orange. My childhood memory is a woman sitting in a forest that is on fire. The woman in my memories has a look of utter despair on her face.
I HATE this painting. It is no longer in my mom's house. It is in my sister's house.
For years, this hung above my mom's bed. Guess where I didn't go when I had bad dreams, especially the ones involving fire, which happened often.
My dad's leather belt. haha
Quoting M4LG5:My dad's leather belt. haha
Nothing comes to mind.
Not my parents, but my grandparents had a swordfish mounted on a plaque in their basement. That thing scared the everloving sh*t out of my when I was a kid.
