On the run

What do you get for on the run meals? DH asked me to pick up dinner,so I grabbed Subway tonight. I think he was hoping for burgers, but with such a nice day, I wanted something healthier.

If we don't cook we usually get pizza delivered.

I usually put something in the crockpot so everyone cand eat when it's convenient for them, and so it's ready when we get home from work and school.

Chinese is always a good option. Also whole foods has great meals for on the go. You just heat it up when you get home. It's kind of expensive, but you do get a LOT of food.

Pizza, chinese, subs or the cooked, broasted chicken at the grocery store.

We hardly ever used do take out, BUT since I have been so ill, you name it, my family has eaten it, sandwich, burgers, Chinese, Mexican from a local dive.

One of the healthiest things we do, (but woohooo does it blow a budget), is go to the grocery store salad bar and everyone fixes their salad to go. Kids love it though, they pick a lot of veggies and fruit.

Lately, I have been so ill, I haven't eaten much.

 I'll usually have a pizza delivered if I really don't feel like cooking. Once in a while we'll run up to the McD's or the deli at the grocery store.
