Herb garden

My herb garden box has been looking bare, it had rosemary, tarragon, and chives. Yesterday I picked up cilantro, basil, and lemon thyme. I also picked up some lemon balm seeds because I heard that lemon balm is good for aroma therapy and has some healing properties.

I love lemon balm. I actually make a very relaxing tea from lemon balm, oregano, and basil. I love having fresh herbs!

I had heard good things about lemon balm, so I hope that I can get it to grow! How do you make tea with them?

I just steep the fresh leaves in hot water. Sometime I'll strain it through a coffee filter, or I'll just leave the leaves in there. The lemon balm is sweet enough that you don't even need sweetener.

its real easy to grow to, also hardy. Mine survive the winter.
