For the past week, EVERYTHING hurts. My thighs, my calves, my hips, my ribs, my back, my fingers and of course my never-ending headaches. Even my right boob hurts.
I am soooo unbelievably tired & am having a hard time functioning.
Called my doc yesterday who sent me in for blood work & I should hear something next week, but until then I'm miserable.
No point to this post, really but just whining.
So, my doctor has SOME of the results back. The rest I have to call for (again) next week. For what they DO have back - it's my thyroid.
Normal range is 0.47-4.68. My result is 7.40.
I'm not surprised. I've been battling underactive thyroid since my mid 20's (I'm 41 now). When my DH was laid off a few years ago, money was REALLY tight, so when my meds ran out, I didn't get more. I was tested a few times since and it was always fine, so I foolishly thought those meds weren't REALLY necessary.
So...I was wrong.
I need to go see the endocrinologist since it's been so long since I've been on meds - and I'll probably get reprimanded. Woohoo.
But, at least it explains the extreme fatigue, inability to lose weight no matter WHAT I do, and maybe the aches and pains.
We'll see if anything else turns up with next week's results.
