How many jobs have you had over how many years? We've done this before I think, but we have new folks :)

For me - many were held concurrently over a span of 24 years (I'm 41 now):

Full Time
1- Teacher (3 different school districts) over 11 years
2 - Consultant for 2 years
3 - Product Manager for 3 years (same company as consultant so I've been with the company 5 years)


Part Time
1 - Wendy's 2 years
2 - Local card store 1 summer
3 - Furniture store 1 1/2 years
4 - Telemarketer (2 companies) 4 summers
5 - Private lesson teacher (in my home & at a studio) 2 years
6 - KFC 1 summer
7 - library - 1 year
8 - janitor 3 years (in college)
9 - data entry about 1 month (worst. job. ever)
10 - infommercial operator 1 year (1st WAH gig)
11 - remote score creator 1 year
12 - online proofreader 6 months
13 - Public Opinion phone surveyor on & off for 2 years
14 - virtual teacher (2 districts) 2 years

Over the past 37 years I've had 5 part time jobs, 3 full time jobs, and owned 2 businesses.

1. Checkout chick at local supermarket

2. Teachers aide (volunteer position at local HS coz I was bored after leaving school @ 16)

3. Clerical officer at Social Security

4. Married stay at home mum for 15 years helping hubby run shearing business and lots of community service work

5. Cleaner at a local caravan park cleaning on-site vans

6. Tutor @ local community college (current job) part time and run my own business from home

Total 7 jobs (I currently work 2 of them)


1-Babysitting (part time off an on during the weekends from when I was 12 until I was 24)

2-Summer Camp Councelor / Lifeguard (2 summers full time from when I was 16-17)

3-Office Assistant (summer full time when I was 18)

4-CAD Drafter (2 summers full time from when I was 19-20)

5-Designer working under my professor (part time during college from when I was 20-23)

6-Intern Architect (the past two years- I am 25 now)

7-Photography Assistant for a Photobooth (part time off and on during the weekends for the past year)

4 over more than 25 years. I started working for my dad when I was around 12 or 13. I have had 2 full time jobs since graduating from college 16.5 years ago.

1 - Dots (15) PT
2 - K's (rest of high school) PT
3 - Temp for the State (summers during college) FT
4 - Bergners (Summers during college) PT
5 - Clerk at CPA Office (summers during college) FT
6 - Admin at Airplane place (first job out of college, temp job) FT
7 - Contractor for DCFS Adoptions Attorney (16 months until I moved 2000 miles away) FT
8 - Temp at awful office place, lasted 2 weeks FT
9 - Temp at Nintendo (6 weeks until I found a perm gig since they weren't going to hire me) FT
10 - Admin Generalist at Zetec (2 years) FT
11 - Accountant at Western Wireless (4 years until laid off) FT
12 - 4 long weeks at a company that was so behind the times, I couldn't stand it FT
13 - oooh lucky 13? Current job, Corp accounting for an energy company for 7 years come 7/6!

I did have a barter type job for a number of years, I worked random shifts at Curves in exchange for membership, that was fun while it lasted, altho it just became too much.

Too many to count :) 7 different positions in different companies after graduating college
