How often do you get a date night?

We have only had 2-3 in the last year. Before that we tried to do it monthly.

Actual date "night"s, meaning like evening activities dinner, movie etc, we've had two in the past 5 years, lol.

We do lunch dates twice a month or so, we just eat in peace.

a few times a year. our friend who watches our daughter for free because she just loves her (can't blame her ;) ) moved away for about 6 months, but she's back now. otherwise, it was less because it almost doubled date night's cost when we had to pay someone. and we do get something for our friend, but she won't take cash, so we usually do a gift card. We might be able to do it more often now tho, finances are changing a bit.

We don't have schedule date nights - like "every Thursday" or "twice a month", etc.

When we feel like we need some time to ourselves, we set it up.  I honestly don't know how many 'date nights' we've had over the year, but it's been at least a handful.

This. It will be awhile to our next one though due to the newborn

We used to try to have a monthly date night, but between my husband working OT and our sons sports/activities, it just hasn't happened.

Nothing scheduled- just a drive or dinner or errands... just time alone is great :)

We've had 2 since DS was born almost 3 years ago and both were work parties for me. We had one adult vacation for 5 ays when DS was 13 months. After that, I just have "issues" with asking someone to watch him while we are out. I felt so guilty for leaving him when we returned home and he was so angry he wouldn't even look at me in the car at the airport.

We sometimes meet for lunch, but nothing romantic about it.

Until we started saving money, we went out once a month. But we haven't been out since January.
