How do you get paid? Salary or hourly? Do you like it that way?

Salary, no other option for my jobs.

I'd make a ton more, if I was paid over-time, lol!!

2 moms liked this

I am salaried and I LOVE it.  Yes, I sometimes work longer hours and don't get overtime.  But, on the flip side, I sometimes work shorter hours and don't get docked.  It all evens out in the end.  And I LOVE knowing exactly how much money every paycheck will be.

I much prefer salaried. there's benefits to both, but knowing exactly what my check will be is huge and not having to take an hour here or there for doc appointments and whatnot, so nice. last time I was hourly (and not a temp) was in 2001, so yeah, a while ago. and OT wasn't allowed, so that wasn't even a nice benefit!

Straight commission ... have to pay my bills out on paper as far in  advance as the check will go!

Salary. Yes, I love it. I'm exempt from overtime.

I was salary, the benefit was my check was the same every week. The downfall, I worked for a horrible company, there were alway long weeks, never in 4 years a short one- not even allowed to work less than 50. But that's the nature of that business, why I am currently a full-time student

I voted either.  I'm self employed and am paid per project.

Salary. I like it that way, I always know what my paycheck will be. I also like that fact that I get paid through the summer when I'm off. Payroll  takes my yearly salary~ based on the contracted days worked~ and divide it by 12 months. No over time pay ever, lol.
