Clothing Co-Op

Getting close to the new school year - I slipped some ideas by my boss about a clothing drive/co-op. My job is NOTORIOUS for low wages and no bonuses and asking employees for money they don't have to fund events. and with school coming up, they were going to have a harder time getting money for "fundraising" than usual.  So I made the suggestion - People bring in their old but wearable clothes, and they get sold back for under 3 dollars - kids and adult clothng (cause lord knows those women didn't find their stuff anywhere but the junior's dept). It wasn't how I originally planned it, but if the company is hosting the location and allowing it to happen, I can't expect it to be a free exchange (my original idea was to have a take a peice, leave a peice scenario)

While the idea to do a fundraiser is great the company knows how little the employees make. I think it's not realistic to expect a lot. I think your idea sounds great.

I think that is a great idea!  It is a win-win for the families and the company.
