High expectations

It seems my expectations of people I pay for things or services is just too high.  When someone says they will be at my house at 4 pm (with nothing else scheduled at that time), I expect they will be there somewhere close to 4 pm.  Silly me.  Needless to say, the blinds I had scheduled to be installed yesterday will not be installed for a couple more weeks.

Thing is, the reviews on YELP! were all 5 star.  The owner of the company is the one who came out to estimate, and he lives just down the street from me.  I called him to express my disappointment.  I would rather deal with the owner directly before making a poor review.  So now, I wait until the 31st for installation.  :(

Aw, that is so frustrating! It can be difficult to predict that kind of service - even good companies have tardy employees. Sounds like you got stuck with one of those. : (

Maybe my expectations are too high, as well.  Co's should be there @ least close to when they say they will.

Wow.  That stinks.  I never hesitate to write up poor reviews when warranted - and this is definitely warranted!

(I also write good reviews if something is exceptional)

so they said they would be there yesterday, then that day decided they would tell you it won't be for two more weeks? that seems very unproffesional! What did he say when you talked to the owner?

I had it scheduled for yesterday and had to reschedule.  The owner said he would get the guy over there "right away", but by the time he got there from where he was, it would have been close to time for DD to be calming down for bed.  The first opening was for 2 weeks from now.

Wow. That really does suck. This sort of thing really bums me out when it happens.
