Is it ok?

2 weeks ago I had a miscarriage, I told the director of my office and she said don't rush back into work. Well I did and now today I've say at my desk crying and just feeling numb. She told me I could use bereavement leave and I'm thinking about taking the rest of the week off. Is that ok to do?

Absolutely.  You need to take care of YOURSELF first and foremost.

If your boss said it was okay, take it.  I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry!

It sounds like your employer is very caring and understanding. I would definitely take the time, especially since it was offered. You need to take care of yourself and do what YOU need to do.

I encourage you to do so. Besides the emotional trauma, you're going through physical trauma. *hugs*

I would.  Only you know when you are ready to pick back up.  That can take a bit to get past.  Especially if you have the support of your boss, I say go for it and take the time to heal.

You should take advantage of it. You are grieving and that's what it's for. So sorry for your loss.
