Do dress up for Thanksgiving? Or is everyone pretty casual?

My mom thinks we should dress up this year. I am traveling 100 miles on Thanksgiving day, I don't want to change when I get there, or dress up.

oh and she doesn't like my clothes anyway, so I still won't be dressed "appropriately"

usually we wear pretty casual clothes, like jeans and a nice sweater.

I think she is trying to stop me from wearing yoga pants. LOL

haha, hey, then you won't have to worry about unbuttoning the pants to make room for round two!  ; )

Growing up we ALWAYS dressed up.  Nowadays, my parents and aunt & uncle still dress up.  The rest of us "kids" and the grandkids mix it up - just depends on our mood I think.

Usually pretty casual. Although, I'd like to get a nice family picture this year so I might dress it up just a tish.

Usually its very casual. But this year we decided to use fancy dishes... So I might just dress the part. Just for fun. If someone didn't wasn't to, it wouldn't matter! :-)

I would let my mother know that if there is a dress code that you and your family will just stay home.  Driving in dress clothes is uncomfortable.  I would most likely show up in yoga pants and long sleeve tshirt and dress it up with jewelry, then again, I am a bit of a smart ass.
