But have no time to really commit to writing.

Actually, it was 2 ideas, but again, no time.  :(

I'm right there with you. I have a partially written novel & several more ideas...but I never have time or energy to finish.

Write the ideas down that way when calms down a little you'll know what you want to write about

i always get inspired in the shower, while falling asleep, or while driving. by the time i get a chance to sit down and type out my thoughts, the mojo has left me. i hate it!

write down the idea and save it for later. if you think it's good now, you may think it's good in a few years when you do have a moment to yourself! ;)

@deccaf, what kind of novel that you've wanted to write about? I just do an outline 1st and work your way from there!

Start a blog. Or maybe tell a little at a time on a twitter feed?

1 mom liked this
I had a blog going and over 10,000 daily readers...it was I was just seeing how my writing would fly. It got me a regular space on a fiction website, and a few featured writer spots online, and an online award.

BUT, it did not make me any money beyond a few hundred bucks, and I found fellow online writers using some of my original analogies and euphanisms.

Don't give it away for free. Take a chance and don't be afraid to fail. Do it right. Get published.

make sure you write those ideas down for when you do get a moment to get it going!

Start it! Wake up 20 minutes earlier. Write for those extra 20 min.
