I have a spicy hot chocolate that I can dig up in a little bit :)

I watched Ina Garten take 4 cups whole milk, 2 cups half & half, I think, warm it on the stove, chop up what I think was a pound of white chocolate and melt it in, then added grand marnier (the orange liquor) it looked divine!
I might cheat one time and do it with lower fat milk and maybe some milk chocolate!! But I think I will add raspberry liquor!

"Bite Back" Hot Chocolate

2 cups milk or half milk, half cream/half and half

2-3 tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp vanilla

1/4 tbsp agave nectar

2 tbsp sugar

Heat over medium heat, whisk all ingredients until well mixed.  Serve with marshmallows, shaved chile chocolate, or whipped cream.

Raspberry Hot Chocolate

2 cups milk

1 cup cream 

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp sugar

1/2-1 tsp raspberry extract

Whisk over medium heat until well mixed. Serve with marshmallows

Mounds Hot Chocolate

1 can coconut milk

1/2-1 cup milk

1 square bakers chocolate

2 squares Ghirardelli 86% dark chocolate

Sugar to taste

Melt chocolate in double boiler (or a metal bowl over a pan with simmering water), add sugar.  Whisk coconut milk & regular milk in.  Serve with shaved dark chocolate & whipped cream.

Hope these hit the spot!

Everything tastes better with lots of fat and sugar! Lol! That does sound delicious and totally ina.

Yes, but have you noticed hubs, Jeaffry (spelling) really isn't that overweight? Neither are all the friends that she is feeding, how is that????

Some of my fave recipes are hers though!!! She introduced my to roasted brussel sprouts, my favorite!
