In December I took on an additional job task at my job (been here 9 years). This new tasks adds 6 hours to my total monthly job duties. I just spoke with the Director of Operations asking if there was going to be financial compensation for the addition responsiblity and he asked me what I had in mind. I'm wondering if asking for an additional $250-300 a month is out of line. I ran a caculation on my hourly rate times 6 hours and it was around $150 a month at my current rate. Bahh I'm horrible at this. I hope you guys can give me some suggestions.
