ebola?!

I'm not totally panicking, but I work 10 minutes from Texas Presby in Dallas where the now 3 ebola patients have been or are being held.

Last week, there was a man who reportedly had symptoms and had been in second-hand contact with the original ebola patient. His daughter was in my son's school district. He ended up testing negative, but the scare was weighing over us for near a week.

I know the threat is still low, and I'm not about to behave as though the world is ending (unlike many of my neighbors!) but it's incredibly unsettling to be so frickin' close to the heart of it all! I will be so happy when all this hysteria passes.

I can only imagine.  I feel fairly insulated at the moment being in San Diego.  Keep safe, and try not to touch anything without immediately washing, and try staying safe!
