How much is a reasonable amount?

Due to my kids' activities, I will need to have someone come 1 -2 times a week to take my dog out for his walk because I won't be getting home until about 8pm or so.

My sister lives 5 minutes from my house and her daughter (my niece) loves our dog.  She is 7 years old.  She wants to be the "dog walker".  All in all, it would take about 15-20 minutes.

What would be a reasonable amount for a 7 year old?

I wouldn't let a 7 y/o walk the dog unless the parent is going to be there. But I would say about $5.

Yes....my sister will be there with her for sure.

I was thinking $5 as well.  My sister suggested only $2 or $3.

I would offer $5, but if your sister says less, just pay her less and bulk up her birthday or Xmas gift a bit.

I second this.
