Jessica has a fun tutorial on Paper Piecing in the Tutorial Forum. Take a look at it and let's have this next challenge focus on that.

It's basically stamping an image on your project and then stamping again on Patterned Paper and cutting it out in sections and applying to the first stamped image. Or it can be as simple as taking different shapes and putting together to create an image.

Try putting the pieces on dimensionals to give your card a 3-D effect. It doesn't have to be a card. Notice the second example. The owl on the scrapbook layout is different colors and shapes put together to create the owl.

I hope you can see it. The body of the bird was one paper and the legs and leaf were another. I also used different dimensionals so youcan see the difference...

Thank you. I want to experiment more with some flower stamps. I think I would love to do a card with a bunch of different flowers and patterns but I have to see if I can do a good job mixing patterns.

It doesn't have to be patterned paper. It can just be different colors if you want.  :)
