I found a great tutorial. I just think these are so pretty. You could use Glimmer Mists or acrylic paint and water in a spray bottle. If you have a nice line stamp this would be a great technique to try. I'm going to see what I can find in my stash.
Let's see what you can come up with!
To make these little beauties you will need Banana Frog Superlicious stamps, some plain white or cream card, shimmer mists, grey or black ink (I always use grey for a softer finish), and a couple of brads.
First spray patches of colour onto the card, overlap the colours in different places so you get some really interesting mixes and graduations.
Once your card is dry, using the outline flower stamp, stamp several images trying to cover areas of interesting colour combinations.
Cut out the flowers cutting between each petal, and using a pokey tool, gently curl and shape the edges of the petals.
Layer in threes, securing between each layer with a dot of glue, finish with a brad through the centre. Curl and shape the edges more as required.
These can be used as little decorations for lots of different projects. I had these three little frames that I bought in Ikea years ago so, after a quick lick of paint, they looked a treat with my 3D flowers on.
