Holiday Recipe Sharing

As you can tell that I am super excited for the upcoming holidays!

I have been seeing a lot of holiday recipes in magazines and I started  thinking about all of the wonderful food this time of year.

I am ALWAYS  open to new versions of the classic dishes. Sometimes I love to stray completely from the classics and go in a totally different direction. What do you love to make for your loved ones? What are some of your favorites?

Let's share some recipes on this post and see if we can't  get some new ideas/recipes for our holiday get togethers.

Oh yum!!! I know what you mean. I've been getting hungry for some of the dishes I only make this time of the year and for the ones I don't make enough! One especially... the Yule log! Yum

I'm putting my recipes in a compostion book I altered for the holidays. I will put in the recipes and what I've tried that year...if it was a dude or a hit. That way I can remember what we liked, what changes need to be made and what I should never make again!!! I'll be back later with some recipes!!!!

 YUMMYY....I love to cook ( and  eat :) for the holidays. I just love the warmth of the kitchen and the divine smells coming from it.

I do have to say that I am more "traditional" when it comes to my holiday meal planning because it is what my family prefers.. ..but tend to experiment the rest of the year. LOL

I do have a couple of great sweet potato and pumpkin recipes...oh I always make homemade rolls.

I would actually like some different side ideas though..any one have any family recipes they could share?

Well first of all I would love a sweet potato recipe(s).  i love them but am clueless ass what to do with them.   lol
