Does your son ever do anything special for you on Mother's Day? If yes, is this because he wants to or you SO/DH helps him?

I think he wants to, and my DH does help.  He is a total mommas boy :)

How old is your son?

I noticed my newly teenage son seems to have an attitude towards Mother's Day.  He says things like, "I'm not getting your anything."

I swear the whole teenage attitude sucks.  When do those annoying hormones regulate?

My son is almost 5. While he's totally a daddy's boy, he loves to make me feel special. He's been telling me that he's buying me a bracelet and flowers for mothers day. My husband who he usually goes shopping w is away at the moment due to the military. But he gave him $100 to buy me something. So today I'm taking him to the store and let him purchase whatever he likes. He's excited :-)

As a single mother of a fabulous 7 year old, I must say no, unfortunately I will not be reaping Mother's Day benefits until he is a bit older since his Father does not assist him in making sure I receive a gift - however, I must say that, in the past, he has picked a flower for me and tells me he loves me everyday - so, I need not complain...  happy mothers day2

Oh bummer on the teenager nastiness. I have been lucky. Jonathan has always been about me getting/doing, etc. He will make me things, or make sure I go out to eat, or something. If he has to pay or whatnot, LOL.

This year, he turns 16 & next day is MOther's Day. We will do a combined dinner as we both LOVE the same place. We don't get to go often because it is pricy :)

I think that's really sweet that he picks your flowers.
