My daughter liked sippy cups, but loved using straws. She started drinking from straws between one year and 18 months, and still does. She picks them out for regular cups but has her own for bedtime water. It was so much easier to teach her to use a straw than to continue with sippy cups. I don't know if that's normal or not, but she wasn't a pacifier baby either.
I ordered it off of Amazon.

Where did u find this one??? I have 2 transition cups that help teach to drink from regular cup but they now leak :( my daughter goes through sippy cups like crazy but she's not quite ready to be done with them.
Quoting Hisservent:my daughter turned 2 in June and uses both sippies and regular cups. Sippies for milk/juice and cups for water. She still tends to spill a lot. I have this kind of cup that helps her to do better with a regular cup.
She doesn't have to really SUCK to get anything out. When their lips touch the top, it pushes it down slightly, allowing liquid to come out.
And sometimes she just uses a regular cup with a straw

It's an Avent training cup. I was watching a child who brought one in and thought it was the coolest thing. I shop on Amazon.com a lot so I just ordered one from there.

What kind of cup is this and where can I get one? ;)
My son just turned 2 a week ago. He still uses sippy cups.. Uses ones with a straw too. He can drink out of a regular cup, but not that well on his own. He will spill. We only give him water in regular cups

I'm not going to say a certain age. My DD has been using a regular cup since she turned a year old, but (she's 2) uses a sippy sometimes (not often).
