My two youngest were watching the basketball part of the Olympics with us. When they showed the players standing and facing the Flags and the national anthem came on, my toddler watched the tv and was quiet and listened to the whole song. He didn't move at all until it was over. I know he doesn't understand yet, but I was proud of him. Just thought it was a cool thing to tell you Ladies.

I don't want to turn this political, but your toddler has more respect for what he doesn't even understand than our president does for what he fully understands. You must be doing something right with your little ones!!!

That is cute. big smile mini

My daughter is a little different. She'd rather watch the games and run around while they're playing the anthems or talking about them.

That's really sweet!  I love how uncomplicated it is for the little ones, ya know?

I'd be proud, too :)

As the wife, grand-daughter, and sis-in-law of some amazing men who have fought in wars I may or may not agree with, my blood runs true to the red, white, and blue.
