Calling Daddy by his first name?

My son is 2 years old, and recently he has started calling his Daddy Nate. I am not sure how to stop this, I know he picked it up from me calling him that. Any advice on how to get him to call him Daddy again?

My dd did this too.  I stopped calling him by his first name in front of her.  I only call him daddy when she is around and I told her no that's daddy not Jim. This worked for my dd (she's 2 as well).

All my kids did at some point and we have many parents in our family (blended family, steps) for example we explained to my son that yes my name is Heather but I'm your mom so you call me mom, Buddy's mom is Michelle so he calls her mom.

Just tell her daddy's name is Nate but we call him daddy. I feel it's important that even young kids know there parents given name. Use it as a teaching tool. My dad didn't know his mothers given name until he was a teenager.
