Hi! Speech Therapy is working, but...

My 2.75 yr old has come up with an term stove way if we still are understanding him. If anyone in the house say, " R", I'm sorry , but I don't understand. He's learned ( on his own) to go find a story book and find the picture as a different communication device.
He'll point out what he is trying to say, look us in the eye and say it S-L-O-W-L-Y .... Like we are the simpletons! Lol. It's hilarious, but effective .

I just think this communication though up on his own, is very smart! His therapy teacher says she has faith that by the end of the summer, he'll be up with his peers and can stop coming.

I can't wait to relay this new skill he's developed on his own. Pretty cool.
