1 mom liked this
It takes two working together as one.

I've also heard that it takes a village to raise a child.

It takes more than 2 working together. But sorry that shit wouldnt fly here. He either helps or i would be there. He had sex willingly to give you a baby right? Well it took both of you to makr that baby.

Why does he think that way? Are you a SAHM? What would happen if you're sick and can't care for the child?

Most men for some reason feel that it should be the woman's job to raise the children but times are changing, there are more and more sahd now. I'm a SAHM so the bulk of the child raises falls to me but when my husband is home he's expected to help with the kids. When I'm sick he takes care of the kids too.

Seek counseling - together or individually. Perhaps your work has an EAP that will cover free consult ?  Don't let this drag on - good luck :)
