My daughter is adhd and has been off her med for about 2 weeks. we moved and our insurance hasn't started up yet. She has been in this new school for about 3 weeks and already have to meet with the teacher about her behavior. I started to reexperience how she was at 4 year old. Hitting me, kicking holes in the walls taturms screaming the whole nine yard, you all know what I am talking about. It is really terriable around here. I am also afraid that she might hurt my son. One time before she got on med she slammed his face in the corner of a caffee table and bruse the whole side of his face. her med cost $120 a bottle I can't aford that right now we just spent all of our money moving to another state. What is a mother to do. I love her more than anything in this world I don't understand why she is the way she is.

Wow!! That is a tough one. I'm not sure can you try your social service department to see if they can give you emergency insurance until your insurance starts or see if your dr. has any samples or can get you the medicine with you reimbursing them later? All they can say is no? There has to be some one that can help with this. If nothing else social services may be able to point you in the right direction. Hopefully there is a mom in one of these boards that can help you.

You're daughter doesnt understand why she acts that way either. My daughter was sick today so she didnt take her medicine this morning and I had an episode of her getting mad because she missed the Suite Life special on disney today I had to spend 2 hrs with her trying to calm her down from crying and screaming and saying that no one understood her and she was dumb and crazy after 2 hours I decided to let her just cry it out. When she finally calmed down she just wanted to hug me and tell me she was sorry for acting that way and doesnt understand why she did it. I dont understand either but I cant tell her that so I just hugged and kissed her and let her go to bed and now Im still up 3 hours later after a day dealing with this and then dealing with a teething baby. LORD BLESS US MOTHERS!!!!
