My almost argument over Jon & Kate Plus 8! LoL!

So today I was at dinner with some friends and at some point I mentioned how I really love watching Jon & Kate Plus 8. My friend says "Oh they are cancelling that show because they are getting divorced..." I told her no they aren't cancelling it and they aren't getting divorced and that those are just tabloids. She was like "that show is so fake" and i told her that it's the most real reality show I've ever seen. So then she decides to say that Jon and Kate should've thought about their future before she spread her legs and gave birth to 8 kids! Right then I just got annoyed...I told her that she didn't just "spread her legs" she had trouble getting pregnant and went to a fertility specialist and didn't expect they were gonna have twins and then 6 kids three years later!! Then I said that she needs to watch the show to know the facts. She said that she watched it once and that they were obnoxious and loud. I told her that when she has kids and they are screaming I'll ask her if she wants 8 of those!

I just felt like telling you that. I've never gotten so defensive over a tv show before! LoL!

I dont watch the show often, but I have no problem with it.... except....

I think Kate is way too crabby to Jon, and Jon just take it... maybe that is part of their problem

have they talked about counciling?  Surely they wont just split without trying counciling, right?

I know what you mean, its almost like you are part of their family LOL.  

I would hate to see any couple divorce and I am hoping they work things out and I am sure being in the spot light doesn't help.

It wasn't that bad. And she's not really a close friend of mine she's really two faced and judgemental. We're navy wives and I was invited to dinner and stuff. And she thinks she knows everything so it felt kinda good to tell her that she's wrong. LOL!

Wow, I see how you feel! O_O I'd be upset, too. I have nothing against the Gosselins or their show, and I really would hate to see them get divorced after having 8 kids together. How tragic is that? I don't like the way people are talking bad about them lately. More than likely I'd be offended also if someone was saying stuff like that to my face.
