Taking a bit of time

Thank you everyone for weighing in on your thoughts of the disolution of the Gosselin marriage. If there is anyone who is interested in taking over the reigns, please let me know.

I have been actively OVERLY concerned about this family, and I need to take the time to focus on MY Family.   My heart breaks for the Gosselins, ALL of them, but I hope that Kate find the strength to continue to be the best mommy that she can be, and that Jon can find whatever it is that he thinks will make him happy.

I can see where so many of us take this to heart. It brings to light what can happen to any marriage. I live in PA, not maybe 90 minutes from these guys. I find it painful to watch this, and can't help but wonder if it wouldn't be healthier for them to take a break. My heart breaks for them. I think Jon is really lost. Kate comes off bad in the news, but she seems to have the mindset I would hope to in her situation. She is so articulate. I can't help but feel for Jon. I hope he has some good friends.

It is indeed a very sad day for all of us-even after all of the gossip, etc. it is very hard to have to see it is true they are divorcing. We must all pray for them, and hope all the best for the kids above all.

I feel for you and a few others on here.  It must be a very sad day for you. Please take time and know that things will fall into place for them. It may not be how we want it to, but life goes on.

Take time for yourself Holly asnd know we'll be here for you when you come back.

Ya i totally took this to heart my husband and I had alot of issues when he had came back from Iraq and we talked about divorce and decided to see if we could turn it around for our daughter and now we are doing really good but It just bought back so many thoughts and how i kept thinking about those poor children, my parents are divorced so I understand how its gonna be, after the show I sat on my husbands lap just crying~ I will be keeping all of them in my prayers

Take the time you need...I wish I was able to take over for you during your absence but I haven't the slightest idea what that would entail...And actually this is YOUR group and I think should stay YOUR group...Just take your time...Believe me we will all still be here!

I have also been very wrapped up in whats going on with this family, even before all the rumors. I hope Jon and Kate do eventually find some peace. I wish they would have at least tried marriage counsling. I believe if you are married for 10 years it is really worth saving. but I do understand they felt they had to do something to get on with there lives.
