I just found a great website for patterns on victorian-cival war era. I am in love!!! I found the wedding dress I'm going to make and I just wanted to share this page with any others who sew their own clothes! It had a lot of other eras too, but those is just the ones I like the best!

Yes, I love to sew. But I'm not THAT good. My mom and youngest sister are super good seamstresses. I sew easy to med. hard things. I love sewing warm sweaters and sweatshirts for my Chihuahua. I used to make my kids clothes, but when I found about yard sales and goodwill, I didn't sew as much. I love making curtains, pillows, or anything else to decorate my house. I used to sew doll clothes for Mishal's dolls and Barbie's. But I don't think I could sew civil war clothes. Too difficult for me. Good for you though!
