Ok, Ladies I am here to fire up the group. Come on the group is mom for guns! So what are you doing with those guns. Are they collecting dust or are they being used. The season for 2009 has ended this past weekend, BUT, wait..................................2010 will be approaching soon. There is no excuse not to get out there and brush up on your skills of marksmanship and becoming a rifleman(woman)! There are many women in this program and even instructors and one day I will be up there with my husband calling the line, but for now I am promoting. Check out the schedule for 2010, what???????? oh, Illinois you say ;), We have 30 shots schedule for 2010, not sure why it's not showing up, My husband was just moved up to State Cordinator for Illinois that is how I know lol, I will have to go back and check that out. The dates should be posted. Where do you live in Illinois?

Can you only use a .22? I have 2- .22's,but I don't like them much. I really like my .270. Do you haave to ironsight it or use a scope. Does it have to be single shot or have a mag? Wha are the distances? As soon as you can find the info send it to me, please.

you can use a .22 that is fine, and a mag, is a beautiful thing lol! You can use a iron sight or scoop with ever one you are more comfortable with. We shot at 100 yard but the targets are simulated from 100 to 300 yards. I use the single shot rifle for the younger ones who are learning now. oh and don't forget this is a family event you can bring the kids. Under 18, women, and military are free to shoot. Although, the Appleseed doesn't charge the range still has a fee. Don't remember if I added that before or not. I will see if he has the dates posted and get back to you!
