since owning and carrying weapons is just life for me you'd think it wouldn't bother me to have dreams of having to use a gun to protect myself or my family. when i do have dreams that someone is breaking into our house while we are sleeping or someone is trying to hurt one of my kids when we are out shopping it still really bothers me. its also funny how accurate i am at shooting these "bad guys" in my dreams. the scenario is usually played out in slow motion (i must watch too many movies) with all my moves crisp and precise. hope if i ever have to do this in real life it will go as smooth! anyone else dream about that?

Sounds like that gun needs to be broke down and gone through. See maybe there is good in the dream. Keep on training, Have you done a Appleseed shoot yet? I am going to try to start pushing these. They are great and really help you see where you are at shooting wise.
Back when I just had my little P22 I dreamt that I was in some sort of confrontation and my teeny little .22 rounds kept hitting the guy but didn't do anything to stop him. I got a 9mm and now all the bad guys die in my dreams. :)
