I picked up the series on the advice of my childrens speech therapists and a few other moms I know here. It's amazing. The signs are clearly shown and easy to learn.

The imagery keeps the childs attention even though I'm still doing hand over hand to learn the signs with my son.

Does anyone else have the series?

Thank you!  Do you have a link where this can be  purchased or that gives more information on this resource?

These are so great! I borrow them from the library (one by one) and everytime I do my son memorizes all of the signs from the video. They really are great signing videos!

I have all the videos that Signing Time! sells.  They are coming out with a new series.  There are 3 new DVD's in Series 2.  Check out a preview of one of the new songs at   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLytj7PNj44.  I'm so excited to get them that I pre-ordered them.  You can also join the forums and join in a lot of great discussion related to signing and Signing Time! at http://www.signingtime.com/forums/.  I have a 4 year old that has a brain disorder called schizencephaly and it has effected her speech.  We have decided to teach her sign language as a way to communicate.  We love Signing Time! it has been a miracle for our family.

When we first started learning sign language when my son was in Preschool, we loved a video called Sign With Me.  I could never find any more videos by these people but it ws exceptionally helpful with the accompanying  music to keep his interest.  We also used the Baby Einstein videos and BabyBumble Bee videos but while sitting together and me running a comentary all the way through and signing together any words we had learned or were working on.  My son's receptive  language is very good.  Now one of the ways we keep building receptive language is using TeachTown www.teachtown.com  One of the areas he is currently workignon is he, she,  him and her. We also keep buildign sign language with our reading words as they come up in whatever stories we are reading.
