My child has Hyperlexia with Autism...or are you interested in a child that only has Hyperlexia?
My son was always fascinated with letters and numbers...the credits of a TV sh ow were his favorite part.
He was an early reader and was always the first in Kindergarten to be ab le to read his sight words...but for him that meant signing them for the class instead of saying them aloud.
His decoding of written language is always better than his comprehension which lags farther behind. That is the biggest problem you have to watch for with Hyperlexia is a tendency to decode at a higher rate than that of actual comprehension.
